Northborough Primary School

year 5 - ash class

Welcome to Autumn Term 2019

Welcome back! I am looking forward to a great year with you all and hope you enjoy the new topics we have in store.

Our first topic is called Stargazers.

We will journey through space, the final frontier… Navigate beyond the Sun: the magnificent, blazing star at the centre of our solar system!

We will be investigating the eight planets – Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn Uranus and Neptune and learning about the Moon, a celestial body that orbits the Earth.

Exploring space is probably the greatest adventure that humankind has ever undertaken. Are we alone or is there other life forms out there?
