Pupil Premium
Please see attached Pupil Premium reports below.
Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium funding is allocated to children from low-income families who are currently known to be eligible for Free School Meals (FSM), looked after children, children adopted from care and Service Forces children. It also includes pupils who have been eligible for FSM at any point in the last 6 years (known as the Ever 6 FSM measure). Pupil premium is not a personal budget for individual pupils, and schools do not have to spend pupil premium so that it solely benefits pupils who meet the funding criteria.
Primary Schools are given a Pupil Premium for:
- Children in Reception to Year 6 who are, or have ever been, entitled to free school meals based on their family income: £1515 per pupil, per school year
- Children in care: £2630 per pupil, per school year, paid to local authority of child in care
- Children previously in care who have been adopted, or who have a special guardianship order, a child arrangements order or a residence order: £2630 per pupil, per school year
- Children recorded as being from service families: £350 per pupil, per school year
If you think your child may be eligible to receive this additional funding and support, but are not sure whether the school is aware of this, please speak in confidence with Mrs Garford in the school office, and she will assist you with the eligibility check.
